About 8 months ago I saw an article recommending the removal of the Audio fuse (25) prior to jump starting the 2018+ Goldwing. The problem of risk to the Audio unit would be avoided. I'm no auto-electrical expert. I just post this to bring into the discussion something that might be worth considering. I've jump starting my Wing before I read about this and luckily the Audio unit wasn't affected. Best wishes!
