Nice to see you’re doing well, particularly on your new Goldwing. I recently purchased the Schuberth C5 helmet and it definitely helped bring the 1250RT together. So, I had the same idea, but on this occasion my wife joined me for the FIRST time on my NT1100 and we rode to Salisbury from Christchurch and stopped for a coffee and she absolutely loved it, and commented that she prefers it to my BMW RT! Well, didn't I make the right choice, LOVE my Honda🙂

I know that route, and it must have been wonderful with your wife. Mine doesn't ride, but we have compromised so when we go to Harris, she will drive and I will ride, so the dogs get to come and we share a cottage. Hopefully the best of both worlds. I also like to look of the NT

I got up early, did the garden, was out by 1030 for a about a 100 miles from Fife to Arbroath and back

hopefully all being well, either end of year or early next looking to get the tour version, life in northumberland and the choice of Honda gold wing able dealers and decent service departments are rarer than hens teeth.

I had to travel to Blackpool to get mine but it was worth it. I also have to travel to Edinburgh for servicing as that is the only Goldwing centre in Scotland. I also book my services 6 months in advance because they are always full. Worth it though, such a great bike and going for a service is a great day out.

@@HighlandRider i’ve spoken to chris at blackpool honda and he was really helpful and understanding about the financing situation i need to come together. Looking forward to going over for a test ride sometime in May , as i’ve only managed to sit on one in showroom as that dealer didn’t allow test rides. Amazing how balanced it was at a standstill. As one of the vertically challenged seat height was fantastic. I currently run a VN900 and she’s not light weight but not in the same league as the wing. Thanks for replying.

@@wjb2 Chris looked after me as well. I tested the B but it was a manual and all the new bikes had the DCT, so he sent me out on his bike, a Tour so I could try the DCT. There are many twats selling bikes, but Chris is one of the good guys, as is the dealership as a whole.
