Seems to get up and go pretty quick for a tiny bike carrying a 265 lb dude.

If you don't mind me asking...How tall /heavy are you? some videos the grom looks smaller then regular bike(duh) others it looks average -ish.. and watching your video was curious since the pickup and go isn't entirely that bad. Thanks for the info +Temporary Citizen
@Tempcitz7 жыл бұрын
shawnkiller90 2m/120kg. I've definitely been on slower bikes, so it doesn't do that bad, all things considered!
@shawnkiller907 жыл бұрын
Well height wise your about my height but weight you got a little on me(no disrespect) but that's good to know,as I have been heavily considering getting a Grom and usually you only see smaller skinny guy videos ,so seeing a heavier set build on one and it still riding nicely was cool to see! Thanks for the quick response and helpful video!

big guy + small bike = LOL Seeing someone riding a Grom always makes me happy too. Theres something about them that makes them cool, there like a modern version of a Z50.

We have the same engine on a different Honda bike and it's got 80k in 12 years with no major engine problems, in fact never had any engine problem at all and still performs very well.

These engines will last 50 thousand plus easily but most KZbinrs like riding wheelies which is kool but the top end becomes thirsty for oil !!! If you ride it normal on 2 wheels then expect to get many many miles for many years !!

All models up to 250cc are LAMS approved unless they're on the specific unapproved list, which is mainly made up of old 2 stroke race bikes, and then of course bikes up to 660cc under the power to weight ratio

Please, when you let the clutch out, let the clutch out. There is no need to feather the clutch after you start from a dead stop. You will be buying your friend a new clutch to replace the one that you are burning up. Hard to watch.
@Tempcitz7 жыл бұрын
funink1 nah she'll be right
@AceInvader7 жыл бұрын
Really the issue is you're revving too high and the clutch brings your rpms back down as it burns up between gears. Definitely need to better rev match that's all I could focus on in this video lol.
@Tempcitz7 жыл бұрын
AceInvader yeah Cheers man, I'll keep that in mind for the next time I ride a bike for 10 mins
