Loved the fact that since you have the parts removed, clean the surrounding area little bit. Only genuine owners will do that. Send the bike to mechanics won't do any of that, you are lucky if they didn't forget to screw in few screws.

Just replaced mine clutch cable as well, i replaced that because there was no more hedge for further adjustments, but after replacing it with new one it again came to the last setting no scope for futher tightness of clutch... But in your case i can see you have got a pretty space for that.. Could you please bring some light on it..

Perhaps the clutch plates needs replacement in your case. Although there could be other issues in clutch section which could be addressed only after checking things inside the clutch chamber. I would recommend tale it to a SVC and have it checked. By the way how many kms have you ridden the bike till now?

No i guess clutch plates are fine coz there is no issue with pickup and it's 11k...i meant to say i am a kind of person who needs a tight clutch a minimum free play, if i will keep it at between 10mm-20mm what is in owner's manual then i get a space for adjustments..right Now i hardly have 5mm free play at clutch lever when keeping it straight.. This was Case in the old wire as well, first time changed it.. After purchase.. May be it's coz of keeping it at minimum slack...

Just found the reason, there is spring at end of the hook on engine side where we tie the end of clutch Cable.. It's somehow dislocated from it's actual position it's very loose.. Now i don't have an exact picture how it should be so that i could know whether it's broken or it is displaced from its position... That's the exact reason behind this..

Just a little bit of play and then stiff as you rightly mentioned. And this should be there in throughout the handlebar radius. from left to right.

Hi Dipayan, need a bit of your assistance with respect to the inclined handlebar risers I am installing for my CB350, do I have to reroute any cables to install the handle bar risers, for reference these are from carbon racing

Yes cable re-routing is required to properly accomodate the new height of the handlebar.
