Honda Helix Custom Build Ep2- Chassis Teardown and Harley Fender Mod

In this installment of the Helix build, Ben and Brock spend some time with some cleaners and brushes, getting the frame and engine cleaned up, wiring and suspension removed and prepped. We also repacked the fork bearings.
We take a rear fender from a wrecked Harley Road King and graft it onto the Helix, now officially dubbed "The Harlix". We chop the rear fender, fab the mounts and bolt it on. We also make custom mounts for a set of Harley running boards, which along with the Harley seat make the Helix so comfortable to sit on. The rear fender and running boards really changes the whole look of the Helix, and we really dig it. Do you like it? Do you hate it? Let us know in the comments!

No, it will still be soft tail. I thought about a saddle seat, but I had this seat off the road king, and I am trying reuse and recycle as much as I can on this one.

I have a hardtail chopper frame, that's why I bought the wrecked road king, for the drivetrain, but I am not looking forward to the beating!
