Honda Helix Custom Build!

The Honda Helix was introduced in 1986, and was the pinnacle of small-frame motorbiking. I was wanted one of these when I was a kid SOOO BAD, but I had to settle for my sister's hand-me down Honda Spree 50cc birth-controlmobile.
I bought this early last year with plans to strip it into a "naked" scooter, and we finally are getting after it. In this video, we strip the body work and controls, mod the handlebars and talk about our plans. Some of the plans have already changed a bit, but you'll have to wait till the next episode to find out what!

I always wanted to convert one of these to feet forward with my rear end as far down as possible. Top speed and fuel efficiency would go up as a result.

@Reddirtrodz oh... im being an asshole.. I love helix scooters.. and it's yours to do as you please. But I'm sure your answer is as valid as the hot rod is saw in a car show of a 30s Lincoln pheaton. People were reacting in horror at the "sacrilege " of "destroying" a classic car. He answered. "There was not enough to save. It was nearly all so bad that all I could do was build a nearly complete car on what was left. " I shouldn't have whined! You do you!
