Tony, thanks for making these videos. I have found that on my 04 Helix I can remove and replace the back wheel without taking off the seat or removing the top bolt on the shock absorber. Just take off the bottom shock bolt and move the shock around and the swing arm and wheel can be removed and replaced. I would suggest removing the black plastic side panels to make access easier.

I dont own a Helix i was just watching this video in case i buy one. As for the dipstick tube i know very well to be careful not to hit it because i knocked mine off on my old Honda Elite 80. Before i bought my electric impact i was trying to loosen the wheel nut by hand, and while i was hitting the breaker bar with a hammer i was careless not paying attention to where i was swinging i broke the dipstick tube off the engine. I thought the engine was done for a moment until i discovered i can replace the side cover. I had to buy a used side cover with gasket.

Thanks for the help. I’m having trouble with my Helix, she’s missing at 50 and 55. I used to get her up to 70. I think there’s too much vacuum in the air box. Any recommendations?

Could be carb getting dirty. Check air filter and fuel filter

This will be my next project. I bought a can of high temperature black BBQ Grill paint. I plan on repainting the whole exhaust to keep it from rusting out😁 from what I hear they are very expensive!

Hi Tony, off the subject here but any idea why my helix takes about 20 resolutions before it will start. Replaced the by starter already. Also when it does start it runs rough and you have to give it throttle to keep it running until it warms up then it runs fine. Top speed is about 67

Could be the fuel pump slow to start. Check for vacuum leaks. Any black smoke when it does start?

@@aarons3501 make sure there clean clean them with wire brush and try again. Make sure the brakes r not applied. Might have to loosen the brake adjuster some thanks for watching
