Took a test drive, and I will agree with Omar, despite the fact that it's underpowered, lacks many feature yet I don't want to strike it out. The drive is fun, one feels confident, steering has a good response and you enjoy it. However, if I am hunting in this budget I will go for Peouget

Yesterday i went to look for cars in 6 million range. Peugeot 2008 was outstanding. Hrv lacks many features. Plus the waiting period is 1 year. I think it just can't compete with other new entrants.

I had to chose grandi vs hrv and went for grani bcz of sun roof, cruise and padle shifter. Otherwise i love hrv look compare to grandi

because he is an aged old fat man who loves Japanese ONLY and not open to new sexy high-tech products. This makes him biased and irrational as his opinion is based on subjective analysis. Objectively this is least powerful and most expensive in crossover B segment.

What he didn't say because of his Chinese skepticism is that this car will only sell because of HONDA badge, fullstop. There is nothing special about it and all its chinese competitors are quicker and cheaper including D segment Glory 580 which is 3 lacs cheaper than this!!
