i'm an integra owner. what i can say is... RB26DETT, 2.6L twin turbo AWD vs. 1.8 (if the teg has a B18C) single turbo FWD... R34 won. not surprising. but what the hell, if i was that teg driver, i am honored to race the R34 GT-R. win or lose, i dont really mind. it's just really fun racing. ;)

That wouldn't always be true. I'm not sure if it's the same for your typical Integra or Civic, but you'd likely find that a B18C/K20 out of a Type R Integra would likely have better flowing characteristics over an RB25DET. Meaning of course, on a forced induction build you'd likely build say a 300kw K20 for less then you would over a 300kw RB25DET. I've never owned either a Skyline or any Honda, but they do flow really well.

I believe the integra put on a good show against the GT-R regarding it had a 1.8 engine turbochaged and the FF layout vs. the AWD TT RB26.

Yeah S15's are nice, I like the R34 better though, can't really beat 4WD for grip makes a lot of difference in the wet.

Regardless of what everyone says, you still have to give it up to Honda for the fact that a straight four cylinder FF was able to keep up with a straight six, twin turbo engine with AWD. Obviously the Integra was modded but I bet the Skyline was too, and it still held its own. Look at what it did to the s3, another AWD, Turboed car. This is why VTEC conquers all competitors hands down...

Actually i do own one, it happens to be a DC2 Integra type R from '00, used to own a MG ZS 180 2.5 V6.
