Wiring in this is fairly simple
Most of the wiring can be tapped into fuses under the dashboard.
Simply locate the relevant wire and connect using inline fuse holders
My Jazz is a 2013 so have the tiny fuses so check before
you buy your fuse holders.......
wire up:
Ground = into screw that holds the fuse box in place.
Perm +ve = into fuse 43
Acc +ve = into fuse 15
Door Unlock signal pulse = into fuse 49
Door Lock signal pulse = into fuse 35
...and the only wires you need to splice are the 4 to and from the manual button:
There are 2 wires going to the manual button
One yellow and one grey.
The Yellow wire controls the. opening of the mirrors
The grey wire controls the closing of the mirrors
Cut both wires so you have four ends
2 from the button (button side)
2 from the car (car side)
(button side) yellow = to manual unlock input on module
(button side) grey = to manual lock input on module
(car side) yellow = to unlock output on module
(car side) grey = to lock output on module
Once the fuse is placed into the holder and the module is connected up
the mirrors will fold in automatically.
Don't panic... this is normal... simply press the unlock button
on you remote and the mirrros will open.
Then close door and press the lock button and the mirrors will close....
Well done.
