It also worked for me. Removing the component was a real pain with a regular soldering iron. I do recommend using whatever is used another method (maybe soldering paste). Thank you sir.

I modified a usb charger which usually plugs into cigarette lighter, i.e. converts 12v down to 5v.

Hello i did the regulator replacement, and worked like a charm! After a while the car stereo is randomly rebooting with a sort of choke and 20 seconds of apparent death, the other sympthom is display backlight dimming half/weak/zero/full again in a random way. I don't think is correlated with the IC502 fix, it happens in all radio modes (CD,AUX)...do you have any clue? Thanks in advance

Hi AMP, the correct P/N should be BA00AS, not BA08CC. It will work, but it isn't correct. You can clearly see even in your video, that the two voltage reference resistors just next to the stabilisator are present even on your PCB.

Is 08CC0W (BA08CC0WFP-E2) and BA00AS same part?

It is compatible. BA00 is adjustable. I just came to tell the same to the author, my radio has BA00, not BA08 :)

Hello. The radio sometimes works well. Sometimes it cuts off the sound. Coming back on the way. Sometimes it sounds intermittently. Keys work, but no sound. Do we need to renew the tuner circuit solders? Do we also need to renew the solder of the motherboard? Are there any parts that need to be replaced?
