Honda, focuses mostly on efficiency and reliability. It has been 8 years that I own a petrol Honda Mobilio with well over 1 lakh+ kilometers. Even though it is not as popular as others, Honda does not advertise like other brands do cause they trust in their product, and as a user, I can testify, it is "very reliable" and "fuel efficient" [fact that the Mobilio's weight - 1.2 ton or 1200 kilograms, length of 4.4 meters, it has a 1498cc engine, non-hybrid and yet it is fuel efficient now giving 22-28 kilometers per litre - YES THAT TOO FROM AN PETROL ENGINE if driven smoothly] our roads are not that great (hilly, potholes, uneven) - yet my car has no interior noise, spare parts are reliable too; never changed anything except regular oil change and its parts. Rides like new, has good insulation inside the cabin, feels comfortable and planted on both good and bad patches of road. The direct rivals to our car at that time were: - either a Mariti Suzuki Ertiga - which had a lame design and a weaker engine, less space inside the car and below expectation built quality (in and out) (personal opinion) - or a Toyota Innova which was twice the price of our car and that too with a diesel engine which would consume double the amount of our car's fuel consumption and not to mention - maintainance doubles too. I just can't imagine how much more reliable will a pure Japanese built Honda be. Not to mention Honda's motto - man maximum machine minimum - my car can fool anyone (even me, when I first saw it) to think that it is built for small heighted people, yet me, an above average Asian male with a height of 5 foot 7 inches (174 cm) can sit comfortably in all the 3 rows, that's amazing where compared to bigger suv's nowadays don't provide such space inside their vehicles. Also, Mobilio's ground clerance of 189mm is and if not better compared to smaller hatchbacks or even lower clerance rivals (like Ertiga with 185 mm / Innova 178 mm / Xylo 186 mm / Lodgy 174 mm - the list can go on) it is good for uneven surfaces and I have been to many such places. And not to mention - Honda's "designs" - they always try new designs and yet, they come up with attractive and unique designs, with unique color choices that just match the styles perfectly. As a person, I love standing out but with reliability, over having a common choice, and that was just what Honda provided for me.

@@ashikhamza2125 Like any "used" car, I cannot guarantee "its longevity or reliability" I speak for my own car. I would suggest you buy a newer model mpv depending on your budget (let it's root be of Japan - e.g. Honda or Suzuki or Mitsubishi or Nissan or Toyota). Unless, if your really opting for a Mobilio, I would check the following: - whole body inspection (for accident records) - pulling power on an incline (tells you about the punctuality of oil change) - sudden jerks while gear change or acceleration (tells you about the fuel filter condition) - underbody (exhaust pipe lines, fuel tank condition) Hope it helps 🙏

I guess yours is the best review on KZbin for Honda Mobilio. Perhaps some form of comparison review with Maruti Ertiga would be more helpful since they seems to be similar looks-wise (minus the difference in mileage in Diesel version). But never mind and thanks again. Cheers!

Great car and good review. You mentioned that spare parts are cheap. I do not agree with this. Honda has to provide better instrumentation. They let this go in Amaze and continuing this trend in this as well..
