FYI, the handlebar clamp bolts are NOT done up diagonally !!!!! The caps should go on with the small dots toward the front, and both front bolts need to be done up first. Then both rear bolts need to be tightened equally to clamp the bar. If you look carefully at the clamps, there is no gap at the front, and a small gap at the rear. All Hondas do this! Roll on summer✅✅✅

@@motohound90 👍 it’s detailed in the top picture on page15-8 of the workshop manual. Torque setting is 27 Nm or 20 ft lb You should be able to remove the little plastic caps with a fingernail😮 saves scratching them with a screwdriver

Most important thing for the rear suspension ; Cost are low and the original suspension is much stiffer. You can do it yourself in about 20 minutes, Just take one shock off at a time, push it in, unscrew IT and place hard plastic ring on top of the spring and under the Chrome coverring. Best upgrade for the suspension. Goooood Luck❤️

Exactly the things that bothered me too, the mirrors especially. And thanks for showing how hard the bolts are and which direction they turn. ;) I don't think I'll ever like these handle bars. I think I'll have to change them out to a 6 inch MX style straight bar. Otherwise, I'm at 243 miles and enjoying the better sound and power all the sudden. My break in is noticeable. Thanks agn

My advise would be to buy a bigger bike. Honda Monkey is not one size fits all.🤔
