Honda Monkey Morocco set up (125cc)

When you want Africa Twin lifestyle, but your budget is low.
My Honda Monkey set up: Tail tidy, mirror extenders, Oxford usb-c charger, Takegawa large rear rack, Enduristan Tornado bag (M) and Enduristan bottle holster.

Have you thought about doing a SW Motech tank bag? I think that would really put the cherry on the top.

Hi, I was planning to add tank bag before trip( Enduristan 4X), but in the end gone without it. For my next trip I likely to add tank bag because got a drone. I always worry that more bags you have more likely you going to take what you don’t need 🙂 SW Motech looks good 👍

Very nice set up! How was your experience with the rear shock absorbers regarding the luggage weight? Because your bag looks like a lot more than what Honda "allows" for the rear load and from what I can see, your absorbers are the stock ones. Can you share your experience with that, please? Thank you :)

Hello, thank you. I was not sure if stock absorbers will hold my weigh 83kg plus bag 7kg, but worked well. Before Morocco trip I had loaded bike as I would load when going on the trip. While driving around I did not ‘bottom’ out. In Morocco I had no issue with set up either. Takegawa rear rack is very solid and I believe could hold more weight than stated 8kg.

Thank you very much@@Jev8oy for the quick response. I weigh about exactly as much as you, so that helps with the math ;) I honestly thought, your Enduristan Tornado bag (M) would be heavier than 7 kg. It actually looks pretty big.

@@wirsindlester I didn’t load bag fully for the trip. Left bit of space for jacket and shoes when we stop and explore local attractions. For my next trip I planning to load my bag even less 🙂
