HONDA MONKEY: PROS AND CONS

I’ve had mine 6 months, I get over 200 MPG here in 🇨🇦, In my 60’s and have owned tons of bikes, this thing is blast to ride around town. Sure it costs a few bucks more but build quality is what you’re paying for. Value of these hold for many years in my opinion. I Love mine. 👍

I have mounted a gear indicator on my Honda Dax ST 125, which has the same odometer as the monkey..

that’s cool! i don’t find it to be entirely necessary, it just would’ve been a nice addition to the monkey built in 😁

@@Skatapatita stock it goes about 35 mph up a pretty steep hill but since i modded it, it goes about 45 mph uphill now 👍

Bought my Monkey in June 2023 and these are the addons. T-Rex center stand, and windshield, Chimera cold air intake ( it is loud on acceleration ) and Man in the box $120 rear shocks. Same color as yours and who needs a gear indicator?

What year of Grom have you ridden with then and been beaten by, I think the one I lost to, was a 2019 against my 2023 monkey.. 😥

i’ve only raced against my two friends who both have a 2023 grom and they both beat me lol and now that they’ve made some upgrades to theirs like the cpu chip, exhaust, and air intake they blow me away even more now 😭

@@itsmebdon well I got a feeling the cpu chip will just make the engine rev faster, but I'd rather not do that because it will shorten the longevity of the engine's life, we have to let Groms have the upper hand over us on some things, coz they certainly don't on looks, lol 👍
