My navi stock did 40 to 45 mph , I bought a cdi interupter, now I am at 50 52 mph. I adjusted the cdi to 9 , I'm satisfied & recommend it.

my 2022 navi , i ride all the time on the highways but never on the freeway. i have no problem running at 45 mph. With plenty of throttle to spare . ive hit 50 and still not at full throttle. ive never run at full throttle to see top speed. My navi is 100% stock.

It can, it can actually get up to 65-70 the main problem is that around 50 without a proper windshield it doesn’t have the proper aerodynamics with a rider on. I’ve seen one with a windshield but it’s was HIDEOUS !!!!! Definitely not worth the slight speed boost

Love your Navi Content! Keep up the Great Work! Got your clutch kit….. what would recommend for up jetting the stock carb? I understand they come pretty lean for emissions and that even without the UNI filter it would help to richer up the mixture with air fuel screw (which I believe you have to cut out the cap…. Other have said it’s better to upjet with stock air box a couple of sizes on the pilot and the main…. And to definitely upjet the stock carb with an intake upgrade and/or exhaust without spending the money and hassle with an aftermarket carb… Thanks so much for your insight as it helps out all your Navi content Fans!

The other day i installed dr. Pulley sliders 13 gram , i noticed when take off i notice a little bit of jerking , i never had any jerking with the original factory installed rollers. i do have guicker acceleration with dr.pulley sliders taking off from stops. next time i make a long distance trip i want to see if I notice a difference in my cruising speed, i as a rule cruise at 40 to 45 mph. i want to see if i can cruise at 40 to 45 mph. with less throttle with the dr. pulley.sliders. also want to see if i get better gas mileage.

My Navi carries my 260 lb ass no problem, 6/8 throttle, Imagine if it was 125 would carry me at 55 no problem I believe.

Same dilemma we used to always have with the ruckus' - theres nothing wrong with doing 50 on the highway, or even a quick stint on the interstate. the problem is other vehicles. In my state, its common for most people to do around 80mph in the 70mph zones. this is a massive issue when there are so many distracted drivers. the bike simply doesnt have enough of a presence physically or audibly to do it safely. even once we were all GY6 swapped and doing 65-70, it only really felt safe in groups and we constantly had cars that would get stalled behind us. after years of riding all size bikes up to a 1k. I wouldnt regularly ride on 65+ roads unless I was on a 250+ bike that can cruise at 70 comfortably.

you were either brave or reckless or both for riding a Navi on the Freeway. Saying that not to be offensive as I owned one and has riden one because I had no choice. It was scary to ride this on a freeway. Its very light that you feel the suction from other cars passing you. I am not even thinking of riding a Navi again on the freeway.

lol is a 50cc really allowed to be in highway roads where you live? The Navi is only 110cc and it looks like you were being passed by 15-20 mph while you were at max throttle. I don't even think most 150cc engines can go 65 mph comfortably and the average speed in low traffic for most high ways is more like 70-80mph.

The navi is 110 cc. However, surprisingly, a motorcycle like this is allowed on the the highway/freeway. Even here in California it’s legal (although everyone say’s it isn’t. It is, but only in certain circumstances. Legally, the Navi (and the Honda Monkey that I ride) are classified as Motor-driven cycles since they operate at or below 150cc. As stated in the official DMV handbook (in CA): “You may not operate a motor-driven cycle on a freeway or expressway if signs are posted to prohibit motor-driven cycle operation.” You can ride on the freeway or highway as long as there is no sign prohibiting it. Should you do it? Probably not. Can you? Yes. Have I done it? Yes (although I knew traffic would be at a standstill so I just lane filtered until my exit a couple miles down the road). I would never do it otherwise since the 50 mph speed limit is more like a recommendation and everyone averages 70-80 mph normally.
