Ordered a custom seat from Thailand for my pcx, transformed the ride and comfort
@mjoa1 Жыл бұрын
Me too! PCX 150. I have knee problems and by putting one one of those seats where I can sit farther back I've actually been able to keep riding the thing instead of having to sell it!
@millymoo6575 Жыл бұрын
@@mjoa1 best mod you can do to one I think. It’s the only thing that lets the bike down! What one did you get the flat style seat?
@mjoa1 Жыл бұрын
@@millymoo6575 Yeah a flat one that doesn't have a dish in it. Now I can sit farther back and straighten my legs, and I can use the upright forward foot position. Not only does that make it good for my knee, it sure does make the bike a lot more comfortable for long rides if you are 5'11" like I am. Very glad I got it. I agree, it's the best thing I did to the bike other than putting michelin city grip tires on it. I'd like to experiment with some different variator weights now so this vid comes in very handy! Love my little PCX!

I just replaced my belt on my 2022 PCX. The spanner wrench tabs were too big for the holes on the flywheel. Had to hold it against the fins. I wonder if they make one that you can swap out the tabs and change sizes. Shouldn't be hard to do. Thanks for your video.

@@MitchsScooterStuff would this be normal PTFE spray? I would be concerned that it might 'fume' at high temps and collect on the drive/driven plate, belt and clutch, similar to kitchen fumes settling on the top of kitchen cupboards.

Hello Mitch's, how are you? I have seen some of your videos and they are great. I am the owner of a CH 80 and I wanted to ask you if you tested a specific filter, the Uni Air Filter NU-4106, since here in Argentina the original filter is not available. and imports are closed. My idea, if possible, is to print it in 3D and I would like to know if it has a kind of grating, under the foam. I wait your answer. It will be really helpfull. The opinion of an expert.

Hey, good and busy 😆 what about you… Oh no I haven’t tested uni filter like that… there is no plastic inside of pod filter, just on front where you clamp it on the carburetor mouth. I haven’t messed with elite 80 air filter… maybe you should find Facebook group for elite 80 to get some help?

also did you get the belt on right,, you need to force open the rear clutch pully (I used a piece of wood..do not use metal as you will damage the Aluminium)Then the belt need to come forward toward the front wheel direction so the drive pulley fits on properly. If the bolt is overhanging the nut , the belt is not in position correctly .See vid for correct setting. One thread showing is fine.

Mitch, love your videos...and kinda envy your lifestyle out there on the island, riding year round...Canada SUX for riding year round ; ) I have a 2018 PCX150 with just over 4,000kms on it. Over the last 1,500kms I've noticed a progressively worse condition of the handlebar violently wobbling when I relax my grip or remove my hands completely while decelerating at low speeds, approximately 40kph/25mph. Are you familiar with this issue and how to remedy it? If anyone else familiar with the problem can chime in that would be great...appreciate any and all help.
