Honda Pioneer 1000 - 1500 Mile Update.

I've owned the Honda Pioneer 1000 since October, and I've put 1,500 miles on it. here are some of my likes and dislikes about it.

I decided to do the winch myself and the warn VXR 4500 I bought came with Both the corded remote and rocker switch. Started to not hook up the corded but figured one day it might be handy if I ever find the need to winch while outside the machine. Great review on the pioneer my friend 👍

@@rainyriveroutfitters yea I agree. 10,000 places on the dash that they could have mounted the plug and they put it in the glove box.

That's what really got me, I think it might have been my fault because I told them to mount it in the best place they saw fit.

Nice machine. Is one of my considerations for a SxS . Yamaha wolverine (it's quiet), wife likes the RMAX lol, pioneer 1000, and possibly a polaris rzr/ranger (reliability???). I like to trail ride in woods/mountains and hunt. So it has been a crazy rabbit hole research video dive on KZbin. Lol. I am glad you like your machine.

When I was looking for a SxS I had the same issue. I needed the utility as well as something I could trail ride. The problem that I ran into with other brands was reliability and build quality. I like the fact that the Pioneer has a real transmission and not a belt to drive it. I also like the manual mode to locking into a gear for hauling. I wish you luck on your decision.
