Helmets for kids? Would really help with noise too.

Thanks for watching! I would agree with you 100%, again this was the first ride out in this SxS with them and they did not want to wear their helmets, they were brought with us and recommended to them. Thanks for commenting!

Sound and heat insulation panels under and behind the front seats will work wonders. Couple hundred $ and well worth it.

Thanks for watching! We have had the unit out quite a few more times, can't say its dialed down too much when at high speeds, but we still have a ways to go! This unit is used a lot more around our farm right now than out riding trails and mud holes. Lots of upgrades coming by next season we hope, lots of stuff in wish lists and carts lol!

Did the gears quiet down any after the first service?
@douglacoursiere22694 жыл бұрын
All mid engine units get hot. Look at installing a fan. There is videos online. Your kids should probably be wearing ear protection or helmets. Alot of the noises go away after break in period.
@3rdgear8774 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! IWe agree on all you have to say. Hadn't got to the point of any research on additional cooling yet so thanks for the recommendation there. Did know the noise levels would drop after break in and first oil change. Being the first ride too we weren't aware of the noise level at the time, but the kids were recommended to wear helmets, we gave them the option to choose. Even had shaded goggles for them. Thanks again for commenting.

Pioneers aren’t belt, they have no break in period
@3rdgear8774 жыл бұрын
@@A10goBrrrrrrrrrt thanks for watching. Fully aware of the information that the Honda Pioneer 1000-5 is not a belt driven unit. However, just like most internal combustion engines there is a recommended maintemance schedule. The initial maintenance (or what most call the break in) is what we are referring to.

If you think the honda is loud be happy you bought it. Polaris, can am and all other belt drive units are much louder.

Buy a tuner and add insulation. The heat will get better. Running lean for emissions.

This is one of the quietest SxS’s on the market! Maybe u guys should stick with video games and shopping malls! smh 🤦♂️
@3rdgear8774 жыл бұрын
Hello and thanks for watching! I am going to have to ask what you mean by your comment? I have owned a few different SxS's and while yes the others may have a louder exhaust or engine revs, in this video we are referring to the gearbox noise at higher speeds. Which I am aware the noise will also go down after a good break in period and with the first oil change. Also not sure what you mean by video games and shopping malls? Seems pretty rude and disrespectful to me...?
@Spirituallybuff4 жыл бұрын
I agree ! That guy is a jack ass ! I think people like to make rude comments like that from the safety of being behind there screen because there karens . Good for you guys for investing in a family day and being involved with your children. Oh and by the way did i mention that imsmarterthanu is a complete tool jackass !

To you helmet commenters; do you make your kids wear helmets in your car? Haha these things are incredibly safe. Compounded by being on a flat straight trail. Relax
@thisseagamer81653 жыл бұрын
Exactly, only time you need one is if it’s something like a hill climb where if you roll you roll bad, or a top speed run
@oneangrycanadian62054 жыл бұрын
Take care of your kids because they arnt old enough to decide about wearing a helmet.
@3rdgear8774 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! I would have to disagree with you. My kids are old enough and smart enough to make a choice, we give them the option when we feel it is safe enough. However had we felt otherwise there would have not been a choice. Thanks for your comments!
