My local Honda shop wanted $400 (yes...$400) to adjust the valves which wouldn't even have been necessary if shop before that hadn't screwed up the job. I would have done it my self if i had known the procedure to jog the motor to bring it up on TDC. Thank you my friend. You just saved me big bucks. (2003 Honda Reflex 250)

Greetings, thanks to this tutorial I was able to tune up my motorcycle and change the timing chain, oil and water pump chain, make other adjustments that through this video I was able to clarify certain tricks that the mechanic did not want to tell me, I did it anyway, and to me motorbike is running. Grateful because there is little concrete information about this Honda reflex 250 motorcycle.

HELLO Sir . I seriously need your assistance, this is my story I owe a Honda reflex 250cc , last 2 months I tried doing the valve clearance, I followed the instructions given. Set the the engine to TDC but whiles shifting the rocker arms I felt no resistance, I got scared knowing I've started messing things up. I started the scooter once again and kinda noticed the scooter had develop a strange sound from the muffler. It changed I begn loosing performance, fuel consumption became worse. In November I tried the valve clearance once again and still didnt feel any resistance, I tightened the two bolts (intake and exhaust) but at this point it never fired up. So I recently pulled out the engine took the cylinder head of and noticed I had both intake and exhaust valves terribly bent. I changed them got everything back , set timing and fired it up, it fired up for some few seconds but with a strange engine noise. For the last time I tried the valve clearance but experience NO resistance in the rocker arms. I noticed the T mark and mark on the cam shaft are no more aligned. I don't know what to do now, whether to get a new cylinder head or not.. could you please help me out.?

That is the whole process? I have a Honda PCX. In my case I have to tear off most of the plastics and that is just the beginning. Then the valve cover has to be found and removed. Then the valves have to be found, a feeler gauge is needed to check each valve. If adjustments are needed nuts have to be loosened with a wrench, feeler gauge inserted-.002, .003, or whatever, then nuts have to be tightened and Bob's your uncle. You mean all that is unnecessary with the Reflex? I am asking because I have recently purchased a 2007 Reflex.
