The slightest 1mph impact crushes the lower turn signal housing against the aluminium behind it. This was very helpful in getting enough wiggle room to slide in the new one. The whole Ridgeline world owes you a beer!

You don’t know how many times I’ve been called, emailed, texted, and messaged on how to remove the front on the Gen2 Refresh. I’m sending everyone your way. Theridgestore! 🎉🎉🎉

That was incredibly detailed and well presented. Thanks for taking the time to record the process. I'll give it a shot, but I feel like more than just a few tabs are going to get broken when I do mine.

Great job as always, really appreciate your work. Specially, anything 2nd Gen Ridgeline. A couple of years ago Thanks to one of your videos I removed the front bumper cover from my 2017 so I could install a transmission oil cooler. That was kinda tricky as well but I got it done. Unfortunately, on 2/1/22, a distracted driver ran a stop 🛑 sign hit me on my left rear side, spun me around and I went head on into a concrete wall, totaled my 2017 RTL-T with only 20K miles… I now have a new 2022 RTL and even though you showed us how to do it, I hope I never have to remove my bumper cover 😜 Thanks again 👌

Very well done and works very well. If you are repairing a dent, you don't necessarily need to pull off the whole bumper-I had a dent the size of half a grapefruit in the edge of my bumper, so I was able to just pull that side loose to work the dent from the inside. This is particularly helpful if you are working alone...

....before you removed the bumper there were no gaps between fender and bumper...yet after you installed everything back gaps appeared. Are bumper end clips so fragile and bend so easily causing gaps and improper alignment.

How do I remove the vents from the bumper?

Good job. I'm installing the Honda HPD fender flares. The directions say pull the bumper. I'm thinking you could fo it without a full pull. Do you have any experience installing these?
@DIYHonda2 жыл бұрын
I do not, but I also don't see why you would need to pull the front bumper.

Are you able to remove the lower textured black part of the cover without removing the entire bumper?

I have a 23 Black edition but I'm replacing the grill and was hesitant and I think your video confirmed it but I have to take the bumper off to get the grill out... Is this the case??

Hello. Good video! Well explained. Question: In order to swap the grill, (I have the same one on the video and I want to install the SPORT grille which for me it looks more aggressive). Do I need to remove the bumper as well?

I put money to hold a 2021 Ridgeline and the headlight was water in it. , the dealer has to take all of this out to replace headlight! I’m worried they won’t put things back to correctly. Seems like a serious job.
