Love the content. Do you typically use all balls bearing kits? What about the wheel cylinders? What brand do you trust for those?
@Pjw3509 ай бұрын
Those drum brake setups are lots and lots of labor- you make it look easy.
@rockspowersports9 ай бұрын
I do use All balls quite a bit, I actually use them for the wheel cylinder rebuild kits as well. These wheel cylinders were a cheaper set from Vito’s.
@Pjw3509 ай бұрын
@@rockspowersports i have used all balls for years without issues. I wont trust anything for brake calipers/cylinders from amazon.

I’ve always been scared of those Honda transmissions, are they fairly reliable?
@rockspowersports9 ай бұрын
I have a grave yard full of Rubicons that have bad transmissions. Maintenance is a huge key for the hondamatic. The earlier models were known to have more problems than the 05+

I’m not sure if you saw my last video of this one but I had to use the primer on the bottom of the carburetor to start this before cleaning the fuel system. Have you tried to use the primer on your Honda?

This is the one thing I hate most about hondas especially used ones. Every used Honda I've encountered always at minimum needed the wheel cylinders adjusted. Most of the used ones around me have no brakes.
@rockspowersports9 ай бұрын
For sure! They really need to be taken apart every couple of years and the adjusters should be cleaned and greased.

If you have a race stuck just run an inch long bead on it with a MIG and let it cool, itll fall out.
@rockspowersports9 ай бұрын
If they are really stuck I’ll usually weld a bolt or something inbetween the outside bearing race. The heat helps tremendously and this give you something to press or hammer on evenly.
