Loving this series. Great attention to detail which is key. Makes an appreciation for customizations all along the way to the finished unit. 🙂

im so glad I ran into your channel lots of stuff to learn. I really want to get into a ruckus build as a hobby, what suggestions do you have to get started fam?
@FlapJack4Gaming3 жыл бұрын
I know this is a really late comment but I just found your channel, an I'd love it if you did a video of disassembling a stock ruckus to get it to the point you had in the beginning of the video where it's in pieces so you can build up.

Can you show us all a proper install of the digital speedometer !? Only asking because I’m still wanting for my KOSO EX-02 to arrive

I’ll have to do that next time I do an install. How about I just make it plug and play?

Either or would be nice, but Plug and play would be sweet! Want to start with fresh odometer after my GY6 swap.

I buy a $25 used tomtom and mount it on a small picture frame glass siliconed to the body. You get the maps, street speeds, and your speed with only one 12 volt connection. The best part is the gps is not draining your phone battery pinging a signal constantly . For tachometers we just add single wire trail tech units ( real small @ 2"×1", usually orange).

Hey @Rollingwrench super big fan of your channel, thank you so much for the helpful vids. I was wondering if you plan on or have already made a worded guide on these builds. I’m asking because I feel it may be easier on the viewer or at least me, to able to quickly flip to a page and see what we/I need rather than combing thru videos. Videos Still helpful! Not trying to say otherwise!

Hey I have a 150 cc moped it starts but I have to use a jumper cable in each time it starts it dies down and the air filter box I recently remove the hose from the carburetor to put an iron piece of air filter but I took it all off and now I have no air filter on it’s just the raw carburetor when I ride sometime water gets into it and it sputters and shut off I have no back mud guard but otherwise I can’t start the moped by the switch only jump start

I would like to get in touch with you about a ruckus clone build I'm currently doing. Do you have a blog or anything like that to submit questions. I'm in Kentucky dont think I'll be in Denver anytime soon
@78abmoreno4 жыл бұрын
I apologize if my questions sound . I am very very new to the scene. I haven't been able to stop watching your videos and have since sourced a GY6 to build from the ground up so to speak and I am using your videos as a guide and plan to use 2 or mor of the kits you have put together (Thank you for that) for us scooter novices. I've heard you mention on several occasions the gy6a and gy6b. How can I tell the difference and when I go pick up is there any questions I should ask? The motor has no harness and is in pieces.
@RollingWrench4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the support ! 99% of GY6 engines are A motors. If it has a Taida engine in it (stamp on the back of the cvt near the rear wheel) then that’s a B. Other wise here is how you tell. GY6 [EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW] decode your engine! kzbin.info/www/bejne/sJXVqH2YbbJ_fqs

Where does one buy a Rukus frame or any scooter 🛵 or mini-bike frame ? I’ve been googling and I can’t find any builder who makes an OEM or replica frame. Choppers on the other hand are plentiful.

Been trying to get my ruckus back in the road for so long now. I bought a new wiring harness from eBay from company called makoa. And now I can't seem to get my ruckus to get power. Really sucks wish I had known about your stuff way before I spent all this money now I'm stuck..

Did he said: "Carb cleaner" when he sprayed in the left grip?
@eric67miller4 жыл бұрын
I used to use hair spray on bicycle grips. Non aerosol stayed movable longer, giving you more time to get it in place. An air compressor and rubber tipped blow gun work.
@mandapalque4 жыл бұрын
@@eric67miller included hair spray as well.

I use a lubricant that dries up also, even soapy water works well too.
@noneshere3 жыл бұрын
Yup , hair spray is what we glued our grips on to BMX handlebars as a kid. Let it dry over night & a razor knife was they only way they came off after that. Btw, you can order bmx grips to use on your handle bars, their 22mm diameter as well.
