Mitch you rule. I always wanted to learn but never had a mentor to teach me how to do this stuff. Some guys kicked over my scooter a couple of weeks ago and it wouldn't start. Your videos helped me figure out how to solve the problem and I got it started today! For someone that doesn't have a lot of money for a mechanic this means A LOT. Thank you for this service!!!

Nice video, Mitch. I have to do one of these for a customer of mine and I've never done it before. I could figure it out, but it's definitely nice to see it done once or twice beforehand. I appreciated the fact that the instructional portion of your video did NOT contain any bizarro music - no dream pop, no goofy EDM. Us "old guys" don't need something blasting into our ear holes 24/7 while we watch something! Thanks again!

So I put a new fuel pump and filter in. The filter came with a zoom zoom carb. And the fuel filter doesn't fill with gasoline like the one I took off did. Its like 7/8th empty. 7/8ths air. Is this fuel filter inhibiting flow? Or does it always sit like that? It still doesn't start good like it always has ever since I rode around with out an air filter for a short bit. I put a new carb. Fuel filter and pump and air filter. Takes 3 minutes to start but its also 40 degrees? Thinknits the fuel flter or cold or what did I do when I started it with out the air filter?

Hey I changed My fuel pump and my fuses gave out and put my old one and replaced my old fuses. And bike won't keep it on everything dies. Starts up and dies when I press the start button

I'm going to tackle this tomorrow, hopefully either the pump and or the filter was my poor running condition, bought a 2020 Ruck with lots of mods and owner bought the bike like that from dealership, I don't have the belly pan protection, nor the fuel pump cover plastic, ect!

Mitch, what is the metal piece called that the fuel pump is screwed to? When attempting to remove the fuel pump to replace it I snapped the screw. I need to purchase a new metal piece but don’t know the name or part number. Your videos are great!

Hey Matt, it's from Harbor Freight too! I got it from my friend in neighborhood... I love it but I wish I have a longer table to put my Burgman 400 on it.... it's too big for this small table lift.... perfect for Honda Elite 250 and other smaller scooters. You will love yours! Thanks!
