I have a 2005 Honda Goldwing. In the owners manual it recommends using Dino oil. Its an old manual, synthetics were not as good as they are now. Do you think it is OK to use synthetic oil in my Honda?

I have the same bike with 89k and I started using full synthetic after 6k. Been long time user of Mobil 1 Racing 4T 10w-40. Honda or K&N filter, both changed every 4k. Still no oil lost between changes. Try a few different brands to find the one that works best as the oil ages. Copied from the Honda Goldwing Service Manual. Recommended engine oil. Pro-Honda GN4 or HP4 ( WITHOUT molybdenum additives) 4-stroke oil or equivalent motor oil API service classification SG or Higher JASO T 903 standard: MA Viscosity: SAE 10W-40.
