Hey man, I use Meguiars soft top shampoo and conditioner to help protect the top from UV and damage in general. Also, the soft top pads that you can put on the inside where the wear points are at will help tremendously

Awesome man I appreciate it big time! I didn’t know they made pads for the wear points, do they just glue on?

I didn’t know about wear pads, where do i get these? I bought a berlina black O7 S2K a year ago, I live in FL, I almost did the intake mod then seen LHT’s favorite intake and ordered it. Hey Derrick Cassel how many miles on your S2K?
@derrickcassel2 жыл бұрын
@@dobleu13 about 133k right now. I'm happy with the air box mod for now, like most things it'll probably go through constant changes lol

I've used 303 for 15 years on mine.

This one? amzn.to/3cRwawA Should I use the protectant too or just the cleaner?

@@readywhenyouare7262 not really but I daily my S2k and 70 miles round trip every day would get pretty annoying with a something loud. I’m happy with my Tanabe exhaust

I did this to a single 2.5 and it's amazing

I was happy with the intake sound for sure, I may wind up getting a test pipe to make it a little louder, we'll see.

hmm I think I left that channel piece on the lid - will have to remove it and see if that makes a difference. With just the bottom part hollowed out I can't hear a difference at all from stock :(
@derrickcassel2 жыл бұрын
Don't get me wrong it's not as loud as an aftermarket intake but to me it definitely has a little more grunt than stock, not sure if the little part on the lid does anything that's just what LHT did lol
@imfuctifino2 жыл бұрын
I did the airbox mod a few months ago. For comparison if you say 100% is the noise you get by removing the top of the air box The induction noise increases by about 20% with this mod. In essence it's a bit of a waste of time really.
@derrickcassel2 жыл бұрын
I see where you're coming from but is it a waste of time if the end user is happy with it?
@imfuctifino2 жыл бұрын
@@derrickcassel it's the way it's portrayed in the video that it's the loudest you've ever heard it and the 'reaction' when it was test driven. Save yourself from wrecking your airbox and time doing the mod because it really isn't worth it. If you want to wreck your airbox drill a bunch of holes in the front facing top part if you want to keep it all std and want noise at the same time
@derrickcassel2 жыл бұрын
Right, so if someone wants to hear a crazy loud crossover this isn't the mod for them but to me the sounds difference was noticeable, sorry if my 'reaction' was too much for you lol. I also put a Revel Medallion on it instead of an Invidia N1 because I didn't feel like my daily needed to be an absolute screamer. Everyone has their own opinions and needs and there's nothing wrong with that.

@@derrickcassel great video, the intake sounds great from the inside as well as outside. if you have time, can you post sound clips of the Revel catback? Thank you
