Prediction would be on modern rubber, on a track like Laguna Seca, the NSX would be a no-contest. No clue on exactly how much the S2000 would win by, but it would win. The old Integra would lose, but I'd predict it'd lose to the modern cars by less than the S2000 beats them by... But that's completely a prediction. If they could do this again, and do the track race, I'd like to see them throw in some more forgettable "sport sedans" that Honda/Acura makes. For examples, the 4th Gen TL with AWD and a manual, and the TLX Type S. To my surprise, the TLX has more power, but its 0-60 and 1/4 times are slower than the TL, which are on par with the new Type R.

The 2 new Civics look like bouncers protecting their VIP. 🙂 It's taken over 30yrs and still the original NSX takes the win. Lets be honest, wouldn't you rather have the NSX over the mundane Civics?? 🙂 Great little tribute vid as usual guys!

As an NSX owner, I was absolutely expecting the NSX to get beat pretty easily but the newer cars. Impressive. That being said, I will say that adding boost to my NSX really woke it up and it’s an absolute riot to drive now.

Finally!! I was the proud owner of both an Integra gs-r and Integra type-r both were stolen one driveway one was in the garage it broke my heart into this day I wish to God I could get at least a GSR again with minimum alterations VTEC controller is okay and headers and exhaust I wouldn't mind, I literally have been in a depression 4 years since that happened they recovered the GSR with all the engine and transmission stick and exhaust which was tanabe VTEC controller was gone head unit was a kicker CVR however there was a really good shell recovered it but didn't have the money to restore it. I had not even 3 weeks before put a brand-new GSR engine JDM from Japan in the GSR with Type R clutch. Sew-in left me to do anyting with a Flintstone car LOL but God I wish one would appear in my driveway I really have never been the same and only car enthusiasts would understand.

I am a V8 man, 40 years of V8's and I am still hooked. But I did go turbo back in the early 2000's with a 93 Mr2 turbo, with a built engine and a huge turbo it is the fastest car I have owned. I beat everything around town, used to eat WRX's GTR's, looked great in yellow on 19's. It did 250KLW with 8psi at the wheels on the dyno when the engine was being run in, on the street I boosted it to 20psi, mid mount and low weight made it crazy fast. I have owned some fast powerful V8's but the Mr2 would eat all of them, even the 64 Chevelle I owned with a monster 454 500 plus hp engine, I am a Ford man and had many 351 powered cars, non would stand a change at the time against that turbo 2ltr, sadly due to the GFC of 08 I lost all my toys but glad I drive a mint 4.6 raised 03 Explorer, sounds better than any car I have owned after deleting the muffler, but gutless to say the least, if I had the cash again I would built another MR2, but at my nearly big 6 0 I should know better, but yeah I am addicted to speed, got hooked on it at a tender age of 18 all them years ago, and have never been able to kick the habit, single turbo on the 4.6 is on the cards, but I should really know better LOL

It's amazing how tech just went thru the roof, back in the day when those cars were new although slow now to us back then they were beating V8s and that's how they became stars with their high revving engines i think they even caught up to the Mazda rotary engines.

I have both and they are both awesome but 2 completely different driving experiences. The s2000 is "easier" to drive if that makes sense. It just feels like it does things a little sharper with less effort the vtec power band is way more noticeable in it over the nsx which is fun. The nsx def has more power but the power delivery in more linear, it is hard to even hear the vtec crossover unless you have an intake. It is more fun to me personally, but i think it's mainly because i like the looks and sound of it a lot more, plus it just has that feeling like you're sitting in something very special the whole time you're driving, not to mention it is a huge conversation piece everywhere you go. Car enthusiasts eyes light up when they see an nsx. The downside is that I get more worried driving the nsx because i don't want anything to happen to it whereas the s2000 is a little less stressful to take out. You can't go wrong with either car but the nsx just makes a statement that is hard to beat.

Jason and Randy Hagerty videos always make my day. This one was off the charts being a Honda guy myself. Props to the video editors who "spliced" in the CTR big wAng picture Fight Club style. This video needs a sequel, cornering ability, with comparative entry and exit speeds. Also, it's amazing to see the progress that 30 years later a 4 seat hatch back can keep up with a super car and do so with it's hands tied behind it's back (safety measures + emission regulations 😒)
