Great review. Love the faring on your SC33. I have got one from 1997 as my second bike in yellow purple colour, I am 27 and think that this look beats any modern sportsbike. It's so forgiving and easy to ride. Can't imagine to part from it.

I have the same model but red and purple colour the bike have 78.000 kmh on the clock and still going strong.Only problem i have its the sound from clutch basket but when the engine warms up around 2000 rpm the noise stops i hope its not something serious .

Hey is it a ticking or clanking sound at idle? comming from the right side of the engine? It might be your camchain tensioner that's going out replacement part is around 120$ you can do it yourself or have a shop do it. Mine went out at exactly 50.000km and had been making a ticking or clanking noise for years when it finally gave up luckily i was sitting at a stoplight with idle rpm's if it goes at higher rpms your engine might jump timing and grenade itself.

Hey ich fahre meine SC33 nun auch schon das 3. Jahr. Hab mir jetzt überlegt mal die Gabel, die Bremsen und die Reifen( CRA 2 hi + CSA vo) überholen zu lassen. Aktuell finde ich es ein bisschen schwierig sie ordentlich in die Kurven zu bekommen. Hast du irgendwelche Tipps für mich ? ( Abgesehen vom CSA3 ) Lieben Gruß aus Ruhrgebiet

Hi aus Bamberg, ist natürlich schwer so ne Ferndiagnose... Ganz wichtig sind einfach gute Reifen, nicht zu alt, nicht zu eckig und der richtige Luftdruck V 2,5 - 2,6 bar und H 2,8- 2,9 bar. Ich fahre gerade neue von Conti Sport attack 2. Die funktioniern gut, könnten aber etwas weniger Bremsaufstellmoment haben. Zum richtigen Knieschleifen ist das Serienfahrwerk ja eh nicht gedacht. Die Gabel mal mit frischem Öl zu versorgen und zu spülen ist nach 25 Jahren sowieso keine schlechte Maßnahme.... Mit meinen 90 KG fahre ich alles auf mittlere Druck und Zugstufe und das haut auch gut hin. Zu hart ist doof.. Grüße aus BA, Tom.

Hey. Gibts den Conti Sport attack 2 für die 16“ Felge ? Falls ja lass gern n link da wenn es geht. Hab jetzt mal einiges überholen lassen. Darunter auch das Fahrwerk. Fährt sich gleich viel besser!

what do you mean new 16" tyres remove the problems associated with 16" wheels previously?

means, 16"rims and tyres were up to date these times, but using 17" rims made the FB more easy to handle and to steer. So nowadays, you can again use the old 16" rims with new tyres, like the Conti Sport attack 2 and you will have a very good rideable result... Cheers Tom.

@@gsmoto9790 Hi Richard, hard to give you a good advise, to many facts can make this feeling, without riding the bike no chance to feel and experience what you mean. Can be a fork issue as well, bad balancing of the rim and tyre??? Cheers Tom from Germany..
