Just got my 2001 ACE up and running. I'm getting about 43 mph, but still probably need to replace the valve seals. Great bike, beautiful lines, strong as a tank.

Out on mine right now, pulled over for a visor clean and cig. Pirelli route, best tyres so far for it. Heavy lump and over all crap feel with Dunlops. Michelin confident grip bad wear patterns on front.

Grip Michelin commander is up there, touch more grip confidence on them but the bad wear makes them meh. Pirelli Route is holding well all round and by far the best so far. Dunlops are just bad, fast wear so not cheaper in long run. Makes the bike feel horrible heavy and chunky just a hell no from me on them.... Mentioned tyres because they make a 💯 difference going from Dunlops to Pirelli.

Sadly no. I have to rebuild the front twin again, replace the valve seals and maybe the piston rings. But it'll happen!

Hi. I really enjoy your videos. I have a 2009 Shadow Spirit. I’m trying to do videos of my rides but I’m having problems with wind noise. What are your recommendations for controlling wind noise? Thanks.

@RobertShearon-x7p The first thing is a full face helmet and I have found that a chin shroud or skirt is a must on blocking out a lot of the wind noise. From there it was just a matter of messing around with the placement of the mic inside the helmet. It's really about trial and error until you can dial it in. Hope this helps.

@ thanks. I removed my chin shroud. I’ll put it back in. I also adjusted the camera for ambient noise. Hopefully my next ride will have better audio.

@RobertShearon-x7p Make sure that you have your dB on your mic set at least negative 6. Depending on your setup, I went all the way to negative 12.
