Looks good. Another thing you could consider doing, which is what I did to my VT750 when I spray painted it is do what you did with the krylon paint, but then put a few light coats of the flat black bumper spray paint. The bumper paint gives off a brighter, darker flat black and the water really beads up nicely. I think it just looks a lot nicer than just the regular flat black.

Thanks for your help. More questions if you dont mind ;) How did you wire the front signals? I know you said you used some kind of switch box to make the rear signal/break lights work, but were the fronts just plug n play?

If it helps. Lacquers are solids and solvents, they dry through evaporation of solvent they're softest. Enamels react with oxygen, which creates a harder finish. Neither are solvent-proof and most automotive paints like duplicolor rustoleum krylon - most anything in a can - are either lacquers or enamels. A-Urethane - you have to mix with a hardener and it's best to clear over it. You can buy AU in cans which you need to agitate - to mix the hardener with the base, though colors will be limited.

Hey man! I'm sure I'm not the only guy to say this but you should put a resistor in your blinker circuit so that your blinkers won't flash as fast. Anyway, great lookin' bike! Nice job!

If you do have issues with your paint - google "colorrite" they can provide acrylic urethane in quarts - touch-up pens etc. - even spray cans - and you can even match your bikes color through their website using model and year.. Their paint is a little (okay-just plain) "expensive" (but), it is bike matched AU paint which is the best for automotive use - especially gas-tanks. AU sets up rock-hard - and won't dry out and fade in the sun like lacquer and enamels, as it is also UV resistant.

Nice Bobber, and a really well done video! cruisercustomizing - for parts? The paint came out nice - but I think that Krylon is an acrylic enamel? If it is, this may be an issue as time wears on - especially on your tank - as enamels (and lacquers) hate solvents like gasoline - so you may eventually get some staining. If you have issues - for really hard wearing finishes, acrylic urethane is best - and is the current standard for automotive finishes. I do like the use of LED's.. Nice Bike!

I really like your bike. Great job. I like your "minimalist aporoach. One question, I am just dreaming of a bobber perhaps in a few years. I like the bobber style because my impression is that the seat is lower and with being lower to the ground, maybe it's easier to manoeuver? So I am just under 6 feet tall. I love the handlebar style you chose. Are you as tall as me? And if so, if your seat/handlebar configuration confortable ?
