Hello sir, well done on the bike. I am very curious as to what part you slipped on the rear fender cut to close it off at around 6:15 in the video! Did you make that yourself or were you able to purchase it from somewhere? If so, what’s it called and where can I get my hands on it??

I purchased all the parts except seat brackets on ebay. the seat is a LaRosa brand. search LaRosa seats and you should come across many. or check out their website. good luck to ya.

thanks for the question. funny I got asked. about the handle bars, gas tank, and what size back tire did you put on. answer .. all of them are the original parts. just looks beefier when trimmed down. powder coated the handle bar, tank and part of headlamp.

Yes, removed pegs and cut off mounts. grind even and hit it with a short blast prime and black paint to blend.

Check out blue collar bobber website. I had to call them and ordered just the seat bracket kit. it Cam with the caps to cover and holes for lights. it just worked out for me.

I did not re jet the carb, and only thing I did was wrap the pipes. It had a hole drilled in the pipes prior for more bass.

I had a rough estimate calculated. I sold all the parts I pulled off of it on ebay to try to keep cost low. lights chain guard , seat etc.. I bought almost everything on Ebay I needed. safe to say around 6 to 7 houndred.

Hi, lovely looking bike (at the end!) I'm thinking of using a shadow to build my own. I can't see the rear shocks though, was this already a hard tail conversion or is there a year of shadow with concealed rear shocks? Or am I just blind?

sorry for delay. the rear shock is under the seat. I was told it is adjustable and for soft to stiff. I never messed with it.

Where did you get your actual seat from? I was interested in getting just the bracket kit from BCB as well but wasn’t sure if it’s easy to get a seat elsewhere and still have it fit, since their seats are already designed to fit perfect. But I’d like to take the same route you did

16" seat. I bought seat kit from blue collar bobbers. I had to call them and buy just the seat bracket only. They don't show it to sell online just with seats. I still have it waiting for the weather to break to get right back out riding. Will probably put white walls on it this summer.

@@blackorizuru934 Yes, but I got only seat bracket and cut kit from them i did not buy the seat with it. you have to call them and ask. I believe the kits come with seats. I bought a different seat on Ebay.

Looks good but lemme see if I have this straight. You take a perfectly good motorcycle and chop it to pieces. Now you have no brake light, tail light or turn signals. Then, remove the rear fender so if you get caught in the rain, water pisses all over you when riding. Have I got this about right?
