Thank you I got the pipes on eBay they're a no name brand but all you have to do is search VT750 exhaust pipes and yes I was able to keep the stock cables with the 10-in handlebars

I dig it man !. Don't worry about the pipe discolouration. All the old bikes did that. Blue & purple, who cares ?. Looks rode hard & put away wet. Luv the paint, & the fact that you kept the Honda badging onnit.

how'd you polish those forks?

I saanded them down with 600 then mother's polish on a small buffer and by hand

Wow, yeah, after hearing that, I'm keeping my stock mufflers on, and not switching to straight through pipes. I'm going to try some Flitz on that gold yellow on the pipes to see if it will take it off. Doubt it. Mother's didn't. The gold on the head don't look bad. But when they turn weird colors of blue and purple on down the pipe it does as it looks out of place.
