Great video! I upped my jet to a 92 in my hss928a. We had 90cm of snow yesterday and today I got to test it out and the Honda has turned into a beast. Takes on a full bucket with moderate pace and doesn't bog down. Unreal. I would never have tried the rejet without this video.. so thank you!

So it really makes a big difference? I have a new 2020 hss928aatd.. I wanna do this mod to but no sure if it's worth it..
@notforyou853 жыл бұрын
@@bombidude Noticeable difference 100%. I didn't mess with anything during the warranty period. Mine was out last fall, so I did the jet swap, and the impeller mod. Throws the heavy stuff significantly farther, and doesn't bog the blower down compared to the models from 5-10 years ago. No soot on the spark plug either, so definitely not too rich. YMMV but it's easily reversible if you don't like the results.

Worked great. I picked up a Honda brand name jet from MTD on Amazon (Honda 99101-ZH8-1100 Jet Main (#110)). Process shown works great. All of the bolts are 10mm and if you don't have the socket, a 10mm wrench comes with the blower. Notes: gasoline takes the sharpie off, the screwdriver needs to have a very thin blade - basically the standard tip thickness (not width) of a 1/4" tip screwdriver, and when removing the guard a second wrench might be necessary for the stand-off bolt.
