HONDA ST1300 OIL PAN GASKET REPLACE

Honda does not use a gasket. the factory guide says to use 3 bond or equivalent on clean mating surfaces. But in most cases a gasket will do better than sealer anyhow. Hope your repair held up. :)

I JUST NOTICED I AM MISSING A VIDEO SEGMENT HERE. WHERE I TORQUE THE PAN BOLTS. THEY SHOULD BE TORQUED AT 8.7 FT LBS. I PUT MINE AT 9 LBS.

I’ll bet you they stripped the drain plug bolt. Otherwise at that mileage there’s no way it would be off or leak otherwise. The front cavity goes under the front crank case and when I had mine off to replace the water pump mechanical seal it seemed apparent to me that it keeps the clutch bathed in oil as it resides at the front of the engine.

It's pretty deep, biblical, 9-23, new beginning, "Q". WW3, NWO, Global reset, etc.

That’s the way you drain all the oil. Maybe you could call a dealer and ask for a gasket, too much silicone. Good job.

The closest dealer is a 100 K away than they have to order it, than a 2 week wait. I looked online everywhere and couldn't find one.
