Florence is a small city at the mouth of the Siuslaw River, on the Oregon coast. Its vast Sea Lion Caves are home to Steller sea lions. Nearby, trails around the restored 19th-century Heceta Head Lighthouse offer views of seabirds and migrating whales. Shops and galleries fill the city’s Historic Old Town district. Across the river are the towering sand mounds of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area.
Yachats (/ˈjɑːhɑːts/ YAH-hahts) is a small coastal city in the southernmost area of Lincoln County, Oregon, United States. According to Oregon Geographic Names, the name comes from the Siletz language and means "dark water at the foot of the mountain". There is a range of differing etymologies, however. William Bright says the name comes from the Alsea placename yáx̣ayky (IPA: /ˈjaχajkʲ/). At the 2010 census, the city's population was 690. In 2007, Budget Travel magazine named Yachats one of the "Ten Coolest Small Towns of the U.S.A.", and Yachats was chosen among the top 10 U.S. up-and-coming vacation destinations by Virtualtourist. In 2011, Arthur Frommer, founder of Frommer's Travel Guides, listed Yachats number seven among his ten favorite vacations.
Waldport is a city in Lincoln County, Oregon, United States. The population was 2,033 at the 2010 census. The city is located on the Alsea River and Alsea Bay, 15 miles south of Newport and 8 miles north of Yachats

Nice ride. May I ask what windshield you have and if you like it or not. I'm 6'2 and get head movement from the wind no matter what position the stock windshield is. I'm also look at the seat in your other videos. Did you have that on this ride and if so, how was it?

Hello Edwin. Thank you for watching. The windshield comes out of Spain and the company has been around a long time and they are called PUIG. The windshield is 2.5 in taller than factory and slightly wider. If you go down my video list, there's quite a few, you will see the review I did on the windshield. I like it a lot. Also in the video list I do a review of the seat. It comes out of a factory in Paris and the name of the company is TOP SELLERIE.. In KZbin if you type "PUIG Honda ST1300 windshield" you will see my video pull up. Also the same thing if you type in "TOP SELLERIE Honda ST1300" you will see the close up review. Great footage. I pop my GoPro on the light fixtures my ST1300 PA came with. I definitely need help with editing and adding music. I only have the GoPro programs to do editing because I don't know what all you motovloggers use. I'm definitely heading up the CA coast to get to OR and WA

Enjoy the wonderful ride. The Oregon coast is the best. The Washington Coast sucks after Long Beach just over the Oregon border. Nothing north of that worth riding, it's boring and nothing to see or do north of especially Ocean Shores and looks like 3rd world with run down towns. You are better off riding to Olympia to Port Townsend, take the ferry to Whidbey Island and ride to Anacortes to Roche Harbor on the Islands. On video editing, I use the free editing tool that comes with Microsoft called "Video Editor". Have fun, take care. 🤙🏍️
