Got it! I will definitely ask for Bruno if in fact he's not the one that answers the email I sent yesterday. I'm also going to get the seat heated & the "lower" version as the "standard" seems to be what the stock ST1300 seat height was & I had my Corbin made lower to get more of my feet on the pavement with those short legs of mine. I was a Goldwing guy way before the ST1300...When I saw them in 1975 I had to have one & bought a '75 the next year...then the '76 Limited Edition...'77...'84...& '89 with a Bunkhouse Camper trailer before getting into RVing & eventually switched to a ST1100 that I towed in a trailer...then came the ST1300.

I heard you say in your video both rider & passenger seating had gel. I have found out that your seat style is the "short" version with the seat back is on the riders seat & not the passengers. That's what I would want. I did try to navigate a "custom" options list on the seat but the translation doesn't seem to be very clear so I emailed them with your seat order # WEB 3894 GEL & I'm waiting for an answer. Enjoy your Garmany adventure & be safe🏍

My apologies for the air bubble that migrated thru my brain this morning causing you confusion. I hope you are able to communicate with the French employees. When I called back in 2019 I think I spoke to someone named Bruno. The lady that picked up the phone spoke ZERO English. Wishing you the best with your seat order. 🤙🤙🏍🏍

I also have an 2007 ST1300 for the last 14 year & just love it. Had a Corbin Dual Canyon Sport (standard) seat made for it (Rider Seating: 15" wide x 15.5" deep)...(Approx. Seat Height: 32.5") wish I had gel added to it. I saw your TOP SELLERIE seat video has my interest. I have a 30" inseam (short legs) so you know how tall that bike was with the stock seat & the Corbin got me lower in the saddle What are the measurements for your seat? I would order the exact same seat you did with all the nice extra touches you did. That said is that seat "Real" leather? I'm having a bit of trouble understanding some of the details on ordering a seat from them but I also saw you post your order #WEB 3894 GEL Thanks in Advance for any help..Jack

I also wish I would have gotten the GEL seat because after a few hours my ass does hurt. The seat is not leather and you would not want it to be leather because it would wear out and look awful in a few years. After 6 years my seat still looks brand new and looks great. When ordering on their website they do ask for your measurements from what I remember. When I find a tape measure (I'm currently in an airbnb in Southern Germany) I will measure my inseam for you. @@alexcastro9970 Hello and thanks for watching. LOL, I thought the same thing with these types of Michelin tyres. The direction is correct. The traction sipes make it look the wrong way. The previous generation P4 made it look the wrong way too if looking at the front tire from the front and have crossed my eyes a couple of times thinking the same thing. During "BRAKING", (which is most important) the sipes are for grabbing the payment and not water sipes. I did find the answer as to why the front and rear motorcycle tires have opposite tread design and siping. Here is the article link below. A very good read. Turns out the rear tire tread design is to "push the water out of the sides during acceleration" The front motorcycle tire, NEEDS "all the traction it can get during braking" in water, and this is why it has the opposite tread design making my eyes cross over and become dyslexic. ❤️🤙🏍️ sgbikerboy.com/2016/12/26/why-do-motorcycle-front-and-rear-tires-have-opposite-tread-patterns/

@MotoTouringWorldWide3 ай бұрын
@@FB-rn1bn ,, hello and thank you for watching 🤙🙋♂️. You are so correct, I used to rent a hoist just to change the oil and it was so time-consuming!!! I did not realize Mercedes designed their engines so the oil can be sucked out from the top since the 1990s. Also people believe that you "have to" change the oil filter every single time and you do not, and also people think that there's oil in the oil filter housing when there is not. After the engine is not running for about 5 minutes, all the oil is in the oil pan so "just suck it out". I looked into the more expensive mighty vac tool. After purchasing this cheap little tool, I'm very satisfied. The box the pump came in fits in my spare tire area ❤️.
