also do you recommend the saddle bags you used in the video? i have had bad experiences with ali express and i would be interested in getting the 35l instead of the 25l bags
@MotorcyclistDiaries2 жыл бұрын
Haha yes I put garlic almost everywhere and I love eating garlic raw))
@MotorcyclistDiaries2 жыл бұрын
Saddle bags in the video are 25L each. Comparing saddle bags with my central duffle bag, the material is thinner and feels cheaper and transparent pocket on a side is opened to elements. Not to well thought out product. But on the other side this saddle bags do their job well, and for money they cost it is not a bad deal. I don't have too much complains about them. I've already made some changes, sewing belt guides. I'm thinking to make a review of these bags after using it for some time.

Well I went and bought a 2020 super cub 125. You were right, going fast on a slow bike is much more fun. Most of the time I don’t even look at the speedometer. Been adding some accessories to make it more travel friendly. Of course everyone here in the US drive way too fast, so I find myself on lots of back roads. I could have easily bought a bigger bike for what I’m eventually going to have in the super cub, but I don’t care. I feel more connected to the smaller bike. One big surprise is that I park it out front of my shop and older customers and folks passing by rave over it and tell stories of when they had one way back when. So yes watching your videos swayed me to get one and it’s been fun. And even though at 72, I’m still working out and pretty healthy, the thought of a huge Harley or goldwing getting off balance at a stoplight and having to muscle it around and hurting something did not appeal to me.
@MotorcyclistDiaries Жыл бұрын
Thank you Rick, I'm glad you are enjoying your Super Cub, that small bikes are so friendly no intimidating no need to ride fast to the finish, no need to compare yourself or pretend to be someone who I'm not. Slow pace of enjoying life.

What's fun is the girls name is "Koguma" which mean "Little Bear"..as in Bear Cub!..It's a very chill relaxed anime...great to unwind to...There is some drama...But I won't say..don't want to spoil...It's a C50 Super Cub..Not sure of the models age..I'd say around 2008 maybe older....It's not mentioned in the show...If anyone knows for sure..I'd love to know.

Just moved to korea from and am thinking of getting a super cub 110, they dont sell these in canda. Thats how i came across your video. I can tell a lot of effort was made in shooting and editing this video. Maybe I will go camping on my super cub in namhae region after getting my bike. Any tips for a future super cub 110 owner let me know! I'm a bit bigger and want to ride with my wife but realistically with the small engine, we are not getting far.

Even it is a small bike it is capable one, you can ride it along, and even with your wife but IMHO it could be boring you could buy 2 of them for you and your wife, and you will have lots of space for luggage.
