When I served in Lebanon 🇱🇧 in the Dutch army, 1989/81, our chaplain rode a Honda Cub throughout the whole Southern Lebanon. Indestructible machine, the Honda Cub is maybe the best motorcycle ever build. 😊

Biking is fine up to 35 degrees C but here in Lyon we’ve had days of 37-39!! Unfortunately, the protection on my ATAS is so good I get very limited airflow. Veeeeery sticky! I use my old Honda Dominator instead. Perfick.

Im buying a Honda Cub in just a week's time, I usually ride the twist and go Honda's because they're pretty available and easy but I am looking forward to using the new cub with the semi auto gear box, the guy I'm buying it from says the bike will go back to 1st gear from 4th if you've come to a stop, just click down again and it's back to the beginning, Im a little worried I will cock it up but im really excited about getting it, my dream bike at long last.. well one of my dream bikes anyway because I cant afford a Vincent or triumph. Nice film thanks, it was a bit nail biting watching you skitter about over those ruts, but at least I know she's sturdy 🛵♥🤍💙

Great video and smashing little bike too. At 17 in 1980 I got my first bike........a drop dead gorgeous(not) 1972 Honda C90.......in brown (stop sniggering everyone). I lived in Ash nr Aldershot at the time and went exploring all over the place on that thing at a heady rate of knots......circa 55mph flat out. Places I went to included Petticoat lane Market, Stonehenge, Amesbury, Bournemouth, Hereford, Some part of Wales that I can't pronounce , along with a host of others. One handy tip though........don't try racing against a Yamaha DT175 in woods on MOD land in Deepcut (Surrey) cos you won't win and tree roots can be treacherous!! Steve

Great ride out, was wondering how an air cooled would cope, went out on my MT03 first time I have had the fan cut in whilst riding, no overheating though. Like you I saw only 1 other bike... You prove you don't need the right bike, just the right attitude :)
@soilsmanadv66732 жыл бұрын
I grew up riding air cooled motorcycles in 100+ degree F in the mountains. They overheat way less than a liquid cooled bike. I don't think it is possible to overheat a honda cub/ct/trail bike! I think the fish would overheat long before the bike! LOL

Ve have Vays(Weiss) und means. You should fit knobbies to the Super Cub for green laning. In Melbourne, Australia the road frost warning light came on in the car dash and it was 5C degrees with a 17C maximum temperature. Is the Cub liquid cooled? Could you buy that house with the profits from your KZbin channel? Should have worn shorts.

I certainly don’t take pleasure from anyones suffering. It does strike me as how ‘extreme’ weather is defined me as just weather outside of the parameters to which folks are accustomed. I grew up about an hours drive north of Philadelphia in the US. In my youth I remember summers that had temperatures well into the 90’s. There were always a few days where the temps reached into. The triple digits. Now we see that kind of weather and the media presents it as a climate apocalypse. Panic must generate a lot of cash for the media companies and probably justification for government to take action to restrict the actions of the governed.
