Great day out in the Derbyshire (and Staffordshire!) hills with other classic Honda owners, mostly Superdream 250's and 400's

They used to to call it 250 wet dream ................ but if you had one you would know its a super dream, 5 years ownership and it NEVER LET ME DOWN... rain snow whatever ...

I remember these back in the day, before I had my full licence, they were everywhere, especially the 250s'. I had a 125 Superdream and it took me all over. I don't recall ever spending a fortune on it to keep it running. Looking back I wish I'd have been more adventurous on it now, but hey simpler times.

God that noise brings back some memories as kid riding on the back of my Dads 1982 250 Superdream as he took me to school.

Great to see these. I had a 250 silver one. They don’t look outdated. Sound nicer than my versys.

Brings back so many memories, I had one and if i remember correctly, it had a kick start too. It felt like such a big bike in the day and was really comfortable, reliable. wow if we could only turn back time.

The very early ones had kickstarts as well as electric so it must have been an 1978 or 1979 model. Glad you enjoyed the video .

I had several of these in the 80s, you could get one for £200 - £300. The other cheapies were the RS250 and the CD200 which were quicker and cheaper to run. BUT they were undersized bikes. Superdreams felt like a real motorbike. My personal fave from those those days was the CZ350. That was a proper bike too.

Youd think these kind of videos are a bit boring at face value. When its places youve never been or always wanted to see, its a whole other story! IMHO though, unless its particularly windy or cold out, full face helmets are a bit much on these low displacement honda bikes ; )

Nice one Andrew. What drone are you using? [thumbsup]
@Neohurricane5 жыл бұрын
Thanks! It's the DJI Spark and that was only the second time I've flown it. Thought it would add spmething different to my videos especially when I go to Scotland next month.

@@Neohurricane Good stuff!! I'm using the Spark as well, but I had quite a few problems with it while I was on tour. I did manage to get some very limited footage, but it ate 2 SD cards in the process, so I chose to leave it in it's bag. Trying to sort it now I'm home.
