excellent information... I do have a question, I just purchased a 2024 1000R fox live talon. My question is does your talon make a clanging sound between gear shifts? I read on forums thats its normal and the dealer hasn't been any help.

Good Day Time. No we have no clanging sound between shits but we did put Amsoil in when we did the first service. Did you join our family here on the Miller Family Farm Trust Channel? We would love to have you....

Hello, For the engine oil the dip stick is measured with out screwing back in, what about the transmission? I noticed he might have screwed it in to test?

John, Thanks for the question and we noticed you haven't subscribed to our KZbin channel and would love to have you join the family as we here LOVE contributors like yourself. Please subscribe and then text us here once you have subscribed. We thought the same thing as you on the transmission dip stick and simply screwed ours in half way to split the difference. Hope that helps. WELCOME!!!

Hey loved your video. Question..the manual for my talon says 10w30, but you guys recommend 10w40. Is that okay, what would be the reason for the change?
@gmiller4326

I love the Ice Cube background music while changing the rear diff. Keep up the good work guys. Did I miss the specs on the drain plug torques? (I can look them up).

Thanks a million.

@@gmiller4326 sorry, already buttoned it back up, but after fighting with it in the semi-dark I took it inside and realized there appeared to already be a gasket in there and the new one I was trying to install would not fit. Does anyone have/know of a good upclose picture of the outer gasket installed in the housing?

Rear differential doesn't hold nearly as much fluid as you had said it did.

@gmiller4326 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Bob...yes we were getting tired making this video towards 1am and mis-spoke about the number of ounces for the rear differential but there are several other areas in the video that clearly state the correct amount of ounces. Thanks for pointing this one mistake out to our family.
@markwomble5684
@markwomble5684 2 жыл бұрын
Only 3.9oz is needed for the rear diff. You had 13.2 in text on the video but said 4oz. Just wanted to put that out there for others

Great job. It’s silly the Talon needs a service after 100 miles that costs over $1,000 at the dealer. Love my Talon but it’s just dumb
