Honda Talon Factory SSV Stereo Install

I decided to go with the Honda approved stereo set up from SSV. This kit comes complete with wiring and hardware. I choose this kit because it was a direct bolt in. Not a universal sound bar.

Great attention to detail. The drip loop on the wire loom to the speakers is super important.

Great video man, I have the 22 talon x4 with the super atv opening windshield, the lower part is stationery and turns down at the top for structure when the top glass is closed. Doesn’t look like much room with that turn down, would you know if the system would work on my machine with that windshield?

Hello . I already have the sub harness that came with my genuine Honda winch parts. Can I just plug into it with this install instead of having to buy a new sub harness

I got the templates directly from the honda website. Check the links in the discretion and you can print those off with the directions

I think you are referring to the key signal so the radio would know when the key is on. You would have to tap into that same harness in some way, they don't make it so you can daisy chain them.

32 inch ITP Terra Hook tires, System3 bead locks. I had to put 1.5 in spacers on the rear from Rough Country

Honda Glass, it was on the machine when I purchased, but it comes from Honda. I will be getting the wiper kit next

@@dabay01 I would say about 4 ours in this project. I had to take out the windshield which took some time. it is not a hard job. It is all plug and play.

I am missing the low's and base with this current set up. That is my only complaint so far. I would like to add some rear speakers that would fill in the Bass. I have not had any issues with water, neither the speakers or with the head unit. I don't use my machine as a boat, but I have had the speakers submerged and the head unit take a title wave hit. All is still good. Over all, I'm still happy with the system.

Junk! Threw mine in the trash after the first ride, yep over $500. It, was of time. don’t spend the money on anything SSV. Can’t even hear it riding down the road. Looks cool but you can build a way better system for a cheaper price. Not sure why honda would partner with this company. They can do a slot better for less. Mbqarts or MTX is a better system.
