Honda TRX 250 won't idle cold on startup new bike fuel idle mixture screw

So to keep the bike running without using the choke we want to remove the welch plug and adjust the screw behind it?

I have a 2022 trx 250 that will fire right up and run fine for about 5 or so min then bog as if it isn't getting any gas while accelerating but will idle fine, any ideas? I'm lost

Run gas cap off?

If this is happening consistently where it will fire up and run fine for a few minutes after sitting, then your float in your carburetor bowl is most likely stuck in a partially closed position. In other words, if I will run fine off of the fuel that has trickled down into the carburetor bowl, but once this fuel has been used, new fuel is not coming into the carburetor bowl at a rate sufficient enough to run the engine because the valve is partially closed. This has happened to me before on a couple ATVs. Just take the carb bowl off, then the float/needle and spray/clean everything well to make sure this valve will open and close fully. Hope this helps
