they are deceptively quick bikes.i dont know if the canadian 750 models had the 3.18 or 3.40 geared shaft drive.if it has the 3.40 gear.its VERY quick.american 700's had the 3.40 gear.& they will pull nice from 5 to 10500 in seconds.i even wish i had a 11k rev limiter since they come up on redline quite quickly, when your also paying attention to the road ahead.

Agreed 100%. Even pull from 4000 to 10500 revs is very strong, and also pulls nicely below 3000 revs. Not sure about final ratio, especially on ’86 model difficult to find 100% confirmed information, it’s a bit hybrid between 1st gen and 2nd gen models…
