First video with the GoPro chin mount. Still working on getting the perfect angle, but this one didn't seem to far off. June 3rd 2018 in Hillsboro Oregon.

I bought the same bike some time ago and love it.Even after 35 years and quite some miles it runs perfect as yours. Thanks for your video and wish we could hear more the engine than the wind, but you did a graet job.

Thanks man. Yeah this was like my first riding video ever I don’t have a mic or anything. Some day when I have more time to make and edit videos I’ll get some good equipment. Thanks for watching!

I’m in the process of getting an 84 VF750F on the road for my first ever street legal bike. It was missing carb diaphragms and the chrome carb tops, as well as the gas tank and the air box. I have tracked down all the parts and they are on their way currently along with calliper rebuild kits! It hadn’t started since 87 but fired up with a bit of smoke from burnt oil in the exhaust. Can’t wait to ride it, Nice video I loved being able to see it before its done!

Glad you were able to track down all the parts! Such a fun bike to ride. I wish I never sold mine.

@@TH3K1NG270 Me too! Funny you commented now, when I’m getting my bike license in a month and getting the carbs synced this thursday haha. Had it running but 2 holes are hot and 2 are rich. Hoping the sync fixes it so i can ride for july-aug :)

I have a super clean 85 700 for sale, don't really want to sell it but like all my bikes there's a price. These are amazing bikes, handling is flawless and when the carbs are synced right these motors have an endless pull. I don't ride mine a lot but when I do I have a grin for days.

They were way beyond their time for sure! I ended up selling mine as well. Hope to get one again some day. I really miss it now that it’s gone but I have something else that puts a grin on my face so at least I have that.

Good video. The audio could be better. The wind noise is high. I had the same problem. Get yourself a remote microphone with a 6ft. cord and place it out of the airstream. you will get a big improvement in the audio..

I've got an red 83 and a blue 84 and another 84 in boxes but complete. Such a cool looking bike with the best name ever. I like your mirror location. Does it work well there?

I got the second one delivered to my hometown in 83. The only time I would pass on a double yellow is if the cops were after me. Don't give bikers a bad name by passing in no pass zones. If you want to go fast go find a remote road somewhere. Started road racing a couple years later after a wake up call from God that burned into my brain, It's not just you you're risking.

Glad you got to experience this amazing bike as well, I couldn’t imagine what it was like brand new in 83. Definitely not out here trying to give bikers a bad name! Where I’m at that is about as remote as the roads get lol. To be honest tho that was basically my first year of full time riding and I’ve learned a lot since then after a crash or two myself.

@@TH3K1NG270 The break in felt like it took forever! I think it was do not exceed 4k rpm no lugging, for I cannot remember like 500 miles. Then working swing shift on my way home, I lit it up for the first time. Talk about time compression, All bikers should heed this saying: Go fast slowly! On a side note when I picked mine up the first one was blue balled up in the shop and they showed it to me before I rode off.
