I test drove both. Wrv is very easy to drive.. good visibility, soft and linear acceleration.. behaves almost like maruti cars. Freestyle is kind of performance oriented.. it always eager to run away. Infact its first gear pickup is scary. So... WRV is good for old-age, ladies and chauffeur driven purpose. Freestyle is for pumping hearts😊👍

You compared a segment above car with Freestyle, it shows how good a car can be. Now to the point: IMO Honda WR-V looks better and has better space in Cabin as well as in Boot. It has many features which attracts an urban buyer e.g. Sunroof, Better looking Alloys, DRLs, Cruise Control, Touch Panel for AC, Tilt and Telescopic Stearing Adjustments, Front Armrest with Storage etc. Why not, it competes with Ford EcoSport, MS V Brezza, Hyundai Venue etc. Freestyle is for those, who love the Fun of Driving, who call themselves Keen Drivers and Drives Enthusiastically. It has got Safety features which cant be matched by even some brands Flagships in India. Like, HLA., ARP., TCS., 6 Airbags, That Safety Assuring Thud Sound from Door. It revs higher, feels punchier, exhaust note is sporty, SYNC 3 is great, Needs Least Service among all. One can take it everywhere say Mountains, Highways, Fields, Twisties and Bends, etc. as it has Go Anywhere Attitude. BTW* I own Ford Freestyle Titanium Petrol and my Odo states around 10500kms in 1yr. For those who are looking for Mileage, it depends on your Driving Style.

While Driving ford freestyle its steering response gives you very good confidence in city and on highway. Solid build quality,heavy kerb weight , large tires, low NVH is excellent and to add its sound system is better than many in its segment. Certainly there can be LED DRLs, projector headlamps and improved cabin colour tones and practicality. But, overall in this price range Ford freestyle is best car and also most underrated. Because its sales figures shows the the sheep mindset in India. Ford has been holding its customers, if not making new, at least.

Ford freestyle diesel Most trusted engine 1.5 tdci & it comes with advance features ARP, TCS, HLA etc. Which Honda WR-V doesn't have.

Sir you have nailed it correctly. Spot on review on comparison. Diesal FREESTYLE is indeed a VFM pocket rocket (all the goodies of Ecosports packed into Freestyle) WR-V is expensive by over 2.5+ lacs over Freestyle. WR-V is just extra clothing on not too successful JAZZ. Deadly package would be cabinspace & interior of WR-V and build quality & features of FREESTYLE.

petrol gives avg 14kmpl. city 13.5kmpl minimum. highway 25kmpl minimum. Diesel would give better.

I have Ford Freestyle Titanium Diesel ... Drove almost 12000kms... On all sorts of roads... From super clean higways to places without roads. From scrachless expressways to riverbeds And trust me no issues at all great handling awesome response and feedback and unmatched control and confidence. Suspension though sometimes feel little stiff bt other than that it awesome and amazing....

Very sad part is we don't value safety of cars ...i hv top end freestyle diesel. While traveling from Kerala to Bangalore a goods truck hit us while we standing at signal at a junction. There was no dent ...car was intact... safety if first priority when u choose a car ... sadly we let go Ford to leave India ...if any other car back passengers would have been injured...we as Indians should look for safety beyond milage n other features..tata cars doing very good job in this regard. Better sense prevail

You are wrong sir in case of mileage, i get 36 kmpl in highway drove aspire from bhopal to jhansi. Same engine in freestyle, so 33 ka to milega hi.

Once again very nice and informative video dear ashish sir. Honada wr-v is quite big car than Freestyle. Again Ford vehicle proves that they are ahead of wr v in terms of driving dynamics. But Honda is well known for its higher refinement levels. Overall one wants to drive the car in relax mood Honda WR V is better choice. Free style is car for those who are very passionate driver. Ye baatein purani ho gayi hai....Honda has very less sale in diseal, engine is good but no where near Ford diseals, as far as service is concerned, Freestyle is the cheapest to maintain, in fact I have a ecosport and last service of 70000 kms was of Rs4300/-, my friends alto service of 20000 kms in maruti was 6100/-...

Honda car parts are tooooo costly. Just enquire the front grill price of wrv and you will be shocked.. maintaining them will be very difficult if you hav frequent minor scratches or dents.. my choice is for ford EcoSport and freestylenif price is below 7lk

Please include body roll feedback in your reviews, which is never much commented on. WRV diesel exhibits more body roll than the petrol, may be due to heavyweight engine. The A pillar is extremely disturbing while driving in ghat sections. Would rate it as 7 for driveability, as the high ground clearance makes it up by gliding easily over potholes. Definitely Ford wins the driver's battle. Would rate Ford as 9. WRV wins on the space front due to huge cabin and boot.
