no, it sparks twice/...because of this there also sometimes the effect of 'backfire'. If Inlet valve timing is not 100% right it might spark the incomeing fuel --> then it fires into the carburator--> backfire...

do you shift down from the last gear?

1e gear down rest is up, because there no oil in the transmission, shifting is a little bit harder than normal ;-)

so the 2nd gear is in the 2nd row and is the 2nd wheel seen from right?? or the 4th seen from left?

I mean in the backrow, seen from driving direction. I´m gonna repair my XL 500R PD 02, and my 2nd gear was not good anymore, it slipped out very easily. Whats the part I have to change?

black Z check you docks they are not Sharp anymore , also check the holes maybe they are also round in the and not Sharp anymore , look in the manual for exact Instruction

Of course I do, I just wanted to know which of these gears ar the two of the 2nd gear to make my life easier. I try tokeep the rest in place.... makes life easier for me...
