There it is. I had that bike when I was 13 years old. Brand new from the crate... There is a lot of people on that road, dang!!!! I had a lot more freedom and raced it around in the desert of Nevada.

13! Bro, you must have been a bear of a 13 yr old. My first real bike was a 79’ Yamaha IT175F and that was a lot of bike for me at 13. I’m hot on the trail of an 87’right now, I can’t wait to get it home. ✌️🇺🇸

@@papimiami1938 did you get some Clymer and Hanes service manuals for it and dig in ? I hope so, I’m chasing one right now and if I get it I’ll never let it go, I’ve had too many bikes I sold and regret the shit out of every one now.

@@deborahchesser7375 yeah ... I actually found a factory service manual on eBay ... Been a bit of an expensive challenge but I've about got it ... Tuning it especially

@@edwards0matic what I meant was, open the pilot screw on the carburetor to 2 1/2 turns out if it’s not already, it will run better and cooler.
@edwards0matic3 жыл бұрын
@@deborahchesser7375 Oh I see .. the bike was actually running very slightly rich so it ran pretty cool already. It ran fine so didn't feel any need to mess with it. That's good info to know for the future though, thanks!
