@@OffRoadRodeo I would think that this should eliminate the blown 7.5 amp headlight/starter fuse issue also. Does the light not come on until the engine is running after the LED mod?

@@MishMashMotoLight come when you turn the key on. Only flicker after you start the engine but it stop after you rev the engine up.

How's that working out after a couple months? Some folk say you need a different main fuse if you go with an LED headlight

I haven’t had any issues. It still flickers at low RPM but it’s noticeably brighter.

I thought this bike was AC so you couldn't run LED bulbs stock? does it not flicker at low rpm?

According to Honda’s site the 2023 XR150L is DC. From everything I read prior to installing the LED headlight is fine and I haven’t had any issues thus far with. I’ll post a follow up video in a few months to note whether I’ve had any issues or not!

The headlight can handle LED. The turn signals cant. There is a company that made 2 harnesses for the LED to work in the turn signals.

@gabeh.4297 I only have info and the xr150l's that are here in USA. TST industries I think it is has the stuff needed for led turn signals. And they now offer a new rear end.

Sir how you connected the led bulb with dc or ac power supply

I simply removed the headlight bulb and replaced with an LED bulb. I did not convert any power supply.

I swapped an led bulb out for my headlight, blinkers and plate late. Got a new relay so everything works right. I tried swapping out the brake light with an led bulb, but it doesn’t get brighter when the brakes are applied. Any ideas?

New subscriber here. Just found you. Loveing the xr150l vids but you tend to fast forward the highway runs. Im more interested to see and hear the street performance part. Is thier any chance you may offer more street coverage/ perhaps offer thiese same vids with sound at regular speed? Anyway still like the vids. Good job. Why pull the clutch lever when in neutral to start the bike?

I think its kind of a habit thing. Just making sure anytime I start the bike I pull the clutch in, just in case its in gear or something.

Bro, you'll need to direct wire that bulb. Under alternate current, it will not last much.

It’s not that I don’t believe you, but now I’m curious to see how long it’ll last. It’s been 4 months and I commute 3-4 times a week on this. We’ll see. And this bulb is cheap so it doesn’t really matter to me.
