Hondata Airbox Mod ! (RSX, EP3)

Just wanted to try out something a bit different than my usual modifications to my car, going a bit more OEM+ and simple
The Hondata Airbox mod was done in the early 2000’s by Hondata as a alternative to buying an aftermarket intake since they were a lot more expensive at the time (remember inflation) and was said to increase power from 3-5whp
Now that doesn’t sound like a lot but it has been able to increase power CONSTANTLY

Ayyy letttsss goooo!!! Man I just installed a cold air intake on my k24 accord and I freakin love it! Got a video on my channel coming for it! Car pulls much more better and the first gear got more torque. From my butt dyno I literally feel a difference ngl. Atleast 3-10 hp! Great vid bro! Love the RSX!

They sell a flexible intake pipe like that at the auto part stores. I got one and routed it down under my battery and get pretty low IAT’s

thx for the detailed video :) 12:00 are there any aftermarket option for the intake tube? the way that it is pointing away from the grille has been bugging me since forever, but I don't want to go for a backyard hack either. Anyway, I have recently picked up a second hand airbox, so hopefully I will attempt this mod soon.

I need help with my RSX. it's having high rpms and it's causing the check engine light to come on.

Probably a bad Idle Air control valve, I’d get that code checked out at autozone for free and go from there

@@ajnunez117 it could be a dirty throttle body also. the engine stalls while driving and shifting. just replaced the clutch, and it sounds like the mechanic didn't do a good job on that. I paid $ 2,500 just for the labor.
