Hondata S300 V3 Install!

Hey man....just found your channel. Thanks for the video. Where in BC are you? I am in the middle of a 92 Prelude father son project. We are almost finished buttoning up the turbo install. The motor is a fully rebuilt H23A ready for turbo. I am just in the middle of figuring out the ECU situation in the car now. The ECU in the car is from and Integra GSX with the Hondata chip installed ready to put in an updated map. Generally, the rebuild of the motor was to bring the compression down to 8.5:1.0 for the turbo with dished pistons and iron sleeves. Fuel injectors are roughly double the flow of the stock. Just a bit confused with imports. So used to domestic muscle cars!😮

That ECU combo should work fine granted you can find a good tuner. H22/23 engines have never been really supported by hondata being OBD2 but your situation seems like it should work with a good tuner that knows what hes doing!

Hey did you figure out what the red flashing light was? And how did you fix it?

Alls I did was remove the Hondata chip from the ECU and put it back in making sure all the connections were properly secured and it worked. Must not have been installed properly but worked for me. Sometimes still flashes red but it works so im not entirely sure on that
